Meanwhile, I’ve added a few documents to the site this week. I plan to add more in the future. Under “Information”, in the right sidebar, you can find patient registration details. Many potential patients call or stop by Good Samaritan Clinic every day. Some of these people could save time and gas money by accessing the information online.
Additional information will be added in the future. For now, the documents included are the Patient Information Form, Policies for New Patients (which lists the required financial documentation), and a Brochure.
The first question that Clinic staff asks a potential patient is this: “Do you have any type of health insurance?”
For the record, Good Samaritan Clinic staff registered eight (8) new uninsured patients today. Our total for this week is twenty-seven (27). We now have 8302 patients on file. Slightly more than half of these patients (57%) live in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The rest of them live in the surrounding Arkansas-Oklahoma area.
On Tuesday evenings, volunteers serve at the reception window.
